FAQs

Can non-athletes book 4thlete services?

Yes. Even though 4thlete was founded to support student-athletes, our programs are open to anyone seeking structure, direction, and personal growth. Many of our services — such as career planning, mindset coaching, and development strategy — apply to life beyond sport. Whether you’ve competed at a high level or simply want to reach your full potential, you’re welcome here.

Do you work with parents or teams?

Yes. We regularly collaborate with parents, coaches, and entire teams to create development plans and workshops that align with their athletes’ goals. Whether it’s recruitment preparation, mindset training, or life-after-sport support, 4thlete offers flexible options for families, groups, and organizations.

How young can an athlete start working with 4thlete?

It’s never too early to build healthy habits and a strong mindset. We typically begin working with athletes from around age 9+, focusing on confidence, structure, and skill development that grows with them. Each program is adapted to the athlete’s maturity, goals, and sport — ensuring every session feels relevant, supportive, and empowering from day one.

Can sessions be done online?

Absolutely. Most 4thlete services are available online, allowing athletes and families to connect with our coaches and mentors from anywhere in the world. We use secure, easy-to-access video platforms to ensure every session is personal, productive, and convenient.

With that said, online sessions are agreed upon during the consultation with a 4thlete representative.

Do you help with college applications and recruitment?

Yes! This is one of our core specialties. Through our College Recruitment & Academic Strategy Sessions and University Matchmaking Service, we help student-athletes identify the right programs, prepare their applications, communicate with coaches, and present themselves with confidence. From highlight videos to essays and interviews, 4thlete supports every step of the journey — helping athletes turn potential into opportunity.

Do I need to be based in Denmark to work with 4thlete?

No. 4thlete works with athletes and families internationally. While the home office is based in Denmark, our team regularly supports clients across Europe, the U.S., and beyond — offering both in-person and virtual guidance tailored to your region, goals, and time zone.

How do I know which service is right for me?

If you’re unsure where to start, we recommend booking a complimentary 20-minute consultation. We’ll discuss your background, goals, and current challenges to match you with the program that best fits your needs — whether it’s recruitment guidance, mindset coaching, or transition support.
